FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Feb. 10, 2017) – U.S. Beach Soccer National Team head coach Eddie Soto has called 14 players to in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. from Feb. 11-15 for a training camp ahead of the 2017 CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship.
The will use the camp to put the final touches on its plans before heading to the 2017 CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship, which will take place from Feb. 15-27 in Nassau, Bahamas. While there, the USA will fight to qualify for a spot in the 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, set to kick off on April 27 also in Nassau, Bahamas.
The pre-qualifying roster includes eight players who took part in the team’s last major tournament, the 2016 Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup, held in Dubai last December.
The final qualifying roster will be announced on Monday, Feb. 13 prior to the team’s departure to the Bahamas.
